At this project, We were trying to make idea from 2 keywords.
“Weight and Tableware”

Our own translation was that the weight is come from ‘Gravity’. Then, We had research about how the object looks like when they are falling down. Besides, how it feels when they are falling down ‘Fear, Surprise, Interesting..’.

Consequently, We made the cup which looks like the moment of falling down, and it was providing special emotion to people.

Bas Jan Ader

In addition, here is one of artist who did the research about Gravity and Falling.
; Bas Jan Ader is both well known and little known as an artist. He died, or disappeared in 1975 at the age of 33, in a boat somewhere off the coast of Cape Cod. He was attempting to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a 13 foot sailboat. As a performance that would challenge the boundaries between art and life. Ader’s work pushed the (then) limits. He experimented with film, photography, installation, and performance. Yet his works continue to influence and inspire successive generations of artists who see art not only as a journey, but as a process of discovery.

It was the one of good challenge how to design a product from artistic inspiration.
