Krabbedans op Locatie Process

Recently, we worked with de Krabbedans for Eindhoven Library at Meerhoven. We researched their history and people. “Living House” was our final concept. It gives you an emotional experience with interactive motion. We studied about that the motion express certain stories. The IR sensor captures human distance with object, and a servo motor makes the structure move. We enjoyed a lot for the project.

Here, Museum Insel Hombroich

Prof. Lee’s recommendation, we visited Museum Insel Hombroich. No pin card available. Good thing, we had just enough money to enter the Museum. Otherwise we had to go back to Eindhoven right away. It was so beautiful day to walk around the garden and finding buildings. It was little bit like a maze but so beautiful to get lost.

For two days we had really good time with Boa, Emilie, Hanna, Joon Lee, Kathy & Florian and Sanghyeok. Also friends from TAC and visitors. It was a quick and short exhibition-shop but we had a lot of good comments :)

Architect Curtain Project for 12n

Architect Curtain Drawing on the Dutch Traditional Kaasdoek Fabric

We’ve been working for short-term installation project at 12n STDNBW Architect Studio. He asked special curtain for his studio, and we try to realize the concept of Architect and Tactile Experience. One of the material which is Kaasdoek (Cheese Fabric) was the main material. It was used for former exhibition in Last Dutch Design Week 2009 at TAC. Because of the light and subtle embroidery, the final result provides the misty identical illustration experience.

Peter Harvey Visiting

Peter Harvey, the owner of Peter Harvey Gallery in Berlin.

Peter Harvey visited to collect The Rocking on the Beach Series. We were really happy to meet him in person, and had good conversation about Art & Design. We deeply appreciate his attention for our works, and thanks to sweet Carola who introduced our work to Peter :) We are exciting to show our work in Berlin with his curating about Ocean & Seaside concept. It will be soon on the show at his gallery during DMY 2010. We are looking forward to be in Berlin in this Summer.

Yangshung and his girl Hwaeun came over to experience the ceramic. They helped us produing Melting Cups and a mold for the next project. Seungbin getting pretty good at this :) Haha they are so-o-o-o-o-o-ooooo cute.cute!

Assembling the Paper Alarm Clock

We had so many projects to develop in such a short time for the Stockholm Furniture Fair DesignBoom Mart after we were back from Cologne. We had to call for S.O.S. Boa, Joon, Sanghyeock and Minsung came to help us with the CloudMon Light. As it has so many steps to produce. It was BIG helps from them and so much fun working together. Thank you so much guys : )

In the end we couldn’t bring the light but we figured out the problem. We are expecting to have the final product soon.

Happy Family in Cologne

‘Rock, Scissor And Paper’ , a new family dance

We had amazing time in Cologne especially with our family :)

We weren’t expecting much to happen in Cologne before we leave. But everything was so great. The organization of D3 was perfect. They took care of every little details form transportation to accommodation. All we had to do was being there to show our design to people and enjoy with friends we met through D3. We had so many good feed back for the Rocking on the Beach. It was really good experience to meet people in person to tell our story and to see their reactions.

Every night we went out to the center to have fun and partying whole night :P
